A CU Freebie and A Mini Kit

Hi Everyone :-) Hope you are all doing well, I've got two treats for you today
a Freebie Mini kit and a CU freebie too! :-) (click the previews)

we've had a bout with the flu over here and now my 2yo is down with what i think is a cold, poor thing, i hate it when she is sick :-( I can't believe that the beauty of fall is almost over! :-( up here on our hilltop nearly all the leaves have fallen and I'm soo sad to see them go! :-( We've got lots of projects going on up here ( as usual) the weather finally cooperated enough for us to pour the cement for the woodshed posts and so hopefully tommorow DH will have enough time to trim trim them to the angle he wants for the roof and then its my turn to build the framing and put up the siding and roofing that I salvaged and cleaned up from another of the old building here on the farm. fuuuunnn. lol. Can you believe that Halloween is just around the corner?! I'm still trying to figure out what my 2yo will be dressed up as. poor kid. up here she doesn't have any neighbors to trick or treat to so its just a long trip to grandma's house and thats it, oh well, pumpkin carving and candy apples and wearing a costume are fun :-) LOL! maybe i can find some sort of church harvest festival party she can go to.. our church is too small right now to have one since she's the only kid there too (honestly,... we don't live in the middle of nowhere.. it just sounds that way.. LOL ) Speaking of Halloween, my friend Heidi asked me if i would like to collab with her on a Halloween fairy kit she was working on and the mini kit (click on the preview) today coordinates with our finished product :-) I hope you like it :-) Check out the Full Mega Kit too, on sale now for just $5.00!!

CU Freebie and Quickpage

Hi All, i've got a bunch of goodies for you today!

This cute quickpage can be found HERE
and was created using my Country Cookbook Mega Kit found HERE

and speaking of cookbooks.... I've got some great layered templates for creating your own
special family cookbook in two different sizes 8.5x11 and 4x6 small bragbook size) these make
GREAT christmas gifts! and they are both on sale now for a dollar off their original prices!
(click the preview to get those)

A pretty freebie for Commercial Use.....

And coordinating with my country theme today...this lovely set of 3 vintage commercial use lace borders can be found HERE (this freebie will expire in a week or so and after that will be sold in my store for 1 dollar )

It's pear picking time again on the farm, (i love this time of year! these pears are awesome, not even close to the Asian pears you purchase in the store, i wish i could share them with you all!)

Here's one of my latest recycled craft projects... this cardboard box kitchen set made for my 2 year old little girl. I love crafting! lol and the greatest part is when you make it yourself you have free reign on its design and colors etc. I had alot of accessories like the knobs and handles and sink faucet etc. hanging around but they could have just as easily been created with cardboard cutouts or painted recycled stuff you have lying around the house. It was really fun to make and if your kids are older they may want to help out with the crafting process too. As you can see, she was pretty thrilled with it :-) to make this i glued together various different boxes, painted them white inside and out, 'wallpapered' the inside of the fridge and 'stove' with aluminum foil (though you don't have to do that) and embellished with some recycled things we had in the old abandoned house left full of junk from the previous owners of our farm, I took apart the non-working toaster oven i found in there for the knobs, and stove handle, and the stove rack, used 2 old cabinet handles for the fridge door handles, (the doors for the fridge and stove close with velcro tabs) and there was an old bathroom sink faucet that i took apart cleaned up and attached to the top with a small dogfood dish for the 'sink'. the fridge magnets and spice boxes were made using scraps of wallpaper border samples i had, empty spice containers and black paint. And the 'window' is made using a pretty picture from Country magazine, painted cardboard and embellished with some cute fabric curtains for the window and under the sink.....

now to make some play food..... LOL

Freebie mini kit and brand new collection series!

Hi Everyone! I've got a great new collection to tell you about today! I'm soo excited about this set!! :-) Ever since I was a little girl I would admire the oil paintings that graced my Grandmother's walls, and was astonished to learn later that she painted them herself! Recently we decided to work together to create a one of a kind legacy scrapbooking series created with and inspired by her gorgeous oil paintings. We've called this series the Artistic Heritage Collection and this is the first in that series : Lake Michigan. this painting was created to capture the beauty of a vacation spot my family visited in the Holland, Michigan area called Tunnel Park. But with all the beautiful Beach themed elements and papers, they would be perfect for capturing ANY beach photos as well! We look forward to scrapping our family heritage with them and hope that you will too! Here is the link to where you can get the free mini kit

and here's a layout of my DD and DH playing at the lake this summer :-)

and this lovely layout was created by my CT Team Leader, Jean Ann using the freebie mini kit!

Over the next few days i'll be updating the blog with some hybrid crafting pics for a baby shower! so check back soon! :-) and oh yes, excuse the dust... i'm going through a extended blog remodel! lol

((hugs))
